A few days ago, I tried to get Anna Lee to take her nap without her passy. I had a nice, calm discussion with her telling her all the reasons I thought she should try to go to sleep without it. She said, "OK," and got in her bed without a fuss. As I left the room, I thought, "Why haven't I tried this sooner?!?" Little did I know. After a full hour of uncontrolled screaming and crying, and the most pitiful pleading you have ever heard, I gave up. Within 30 seconds of putting her passy back in her mouth, she was asleep. Oh well. Maybe next month.
Later that night, this is what Jim and I found when Anna Lee was going to bed. I think she was protesting.
